Majestic, signed Erstwilder, ‘Queen of the Nile Cleopatra’ acrylic brooch/pin!

This laser-cut brooch features a three-dimensional Cleopatra queen pin design. Beautifully hand-painted, it showcases layers of super light resin and illustrates a fitting representation of the Cleopatra - as renowned as they come, Cleopatra was a great many things; ruler, mother, leader, lover, politician and, if you had asked her, a living goddess too.

Perhaps the original icon of royal flair, this Queen of the Nile Cleopatra brooch is part of the Egyptian Revival collection. Inspired by all things Ancient Egypt, as filtered through the lens of Art Deco design, this glorious brooch has been hand-assembled from a selection of patterned, textured and gorgeous gold mirror resins, and features hand-painted details as well as a series of beautiful Czech glass gemstones on the head dress. It can be worn alongside the Lady of Grace Nefertiti brooch for a resplendent royal pairing, or with its matching enamel pin.

Designed and hand-made in a little studio in Melbourne, Australia. Erstwilder’s designs are decidedly fun, often outrageous, somewhat quirky and always delightfully companionable. Made up of a team of local designers, each piece in a collection has its own narrative including a unique name and a short story which serves as an homage to history, myth, pop-culture and classic storytelling. Each little character is only made in a limited number and their designs are highly collectible.

Condition: New, excellent, no loss or wear aways. Please note due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in their designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
