This laser-cut mirror compact features a three-dimensional scarab design. Beautifully hand-painted, it showcases layers of super light resin and illustrates a fitting representation of the scarab beetle - a sacred symbol of the highest significance. A representation of renewal and regeneration. A rather lofty height for this humble beetle.

An eminently important symbol in Egyptian culture, this Heart of Egypt Scarab mirror compact is part of the Egyptian Revival collection. Inspired by all things Ancient Egypt, as filtered through the lens of Art Deco design, this classical compact has been hand-assembled from tasteful textured resins and features gorgeous gold mirror resin specifically chosen for this release. With a swivel hinge that reveals a mirror on the inside, this artful accessory pairs well with the Heart of Egypt Scarab bracelet, brooch, drop or stud earrings, enamel pin, and necklace.

Designed and hand-made in a little studio in Melbourne, Australia. Erstwilder’s designs are decidedly fun, often outrageous, somewhat quirky and always delightfully companionable. Made up of a team of local designers, each piece in a collection has its own narrative including a unique name and a short story which serves as an homage to history, myth, pop-culture and classic storytelling. Each little character is only made in a limited number and their designs are highly collectible.

Condition: New, excellent, no loss or wear aways. Please note due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in their designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
