Erstwilder, A Most Sacred Bird Ibis, Acrylic Brooch
Erstwilder, A Most Sacred Bird Ibis, Acrylic Brooch
Majestic, signed Erstwilder, ‘A Most Sacred Bird Ibis’ acrylic brooch/pin!
This laser-cut brooch features a three-dimensional ibis bird pin design. Beautifully hand-painted, it showcases layers of super light resin and illustrates a fitting representation of the Egyptian bird - maintaining the universe is a rather large responsibility for the humble Ibis. Hopefully, Thoth is providing the requisite support.
Once a common offering to the Egyptian god of wisdom and reason, this A Most Sacred Bird Ibis brooch is part of the Egyptian Revival collection. Inspired by all things Ancient Egypt, as filtered through the lens of Art Deco design, this glorious brooch is brought to life with a sublime selection of textured resins with hand-painted detail and features a gorgeous gold mirror resin specifically chosen for this release. It can be worn together with its matching enamel pin and makes a suitable companion piece for both the Nile Crocodile brooch and Queen of the Throne Isis designs.
Designed and hand-made in a little studio in Melbourne, Australia. Erstwilder’s designs are decidedly fun, often outrageous, somewhat quirky and always delightfully companionable. Made up of a team of local designers, each piece in a collection has its own narrative including a unique name and a short story which serves as an homage to history, myth, pop-culture and classic storytelling. Each little character is only made in a limited number and their designs are highly collectible.
Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.
