Rooms by Danilova is a limited statement earring line inspired by fashion recycling and nostalgic adornment. It tells a story of longevity, where each component is recycled from past fashion accessories and is re-imagined in its new, handcrafted, statement earring form. The past memories are preserved and new, beautifully adorned, memories are created. 

Influenced by our Russian heritage, Rooms by Danilova was inspired by Russia’s national lost treasure - the Amber Room. One of the most beautiful and elaborate rooms in history, so dazzling of amber that it has been described as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Constructed in the 18th century, it has been missing for 70 years, after being looted during World War II. Its current whereabout remain a mystery. Thankfully, it was reconstructed using recycled amber and a new life has been brought to this magnificent room. 

Each collection from Rooms by Danilova will explore a different type of a natural gemstone to create an expansive ’room’ - a collection of statement earrings inspired by recycled fashion components and such gemstone. Each earring features a gemstone bead from our personal Danilova collection, giving each wearer a chance to experience treasured gems that have been collected and curated by us for many years. Each pair is as unique as it’s gemstone - where no pair of earrings is ever exactly the same. 

It is only fit that Danilova’s debut collection is called The Amber Room. This statement earring collection explores various types of the amber gemstone from our vast personal amber collection. Each style is inspired to be just as ornate, elaborate and bold as the Amber Room once was, reconstructed in a contemporary manner. 

Every piece of Rooms by Danilova earrings is handmade with true passion. Danilova wants to make a contribution to the preservation of our environment and its history, using recycled natural materials, either found by us or donated to us. Each piece of jewellery reflects a unique time and place in the collective consciousness of a true jewellery enthusiast.
